2009 Chardonnay

SOLD OUT!

2011 Ontario Wine Awards Gold Medal Winner!

A wonderful Chardonnay. Very elegant on the nose, with balanced oak and caramel notes. The palate is also elegant and smooth. Good acidity for cellaring but not so that it can’t be enjoyed today.

2010 Vidal Icewine
VQA • PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY • VQA

Bronze Medal Winner at the 2011 Canadian Wine Awards!

"This is a brilliant, elegant vidal icewine with a classy nose of yellow pear/apple, vanilla, wildflower and honeycomb waxiness. It's mid-weight, very fine and tender on the palate with poised sweetness and acidity. Lemon and honey flavours linger to excellent length."

2008 Pinot Noir
VQA • PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY • VQA

The nose is dark cherry, with faint kirsch-like qualities and cooked raspberries, reminiscent of fresh raspberry pie. You will sense a stone minerality, with forest leaf and integrated toasty oak. The palate is warm, medium weight, elegant, with fresh acidity typical of the County.

2009 Pinot Noir

2011 CANADIAN WINE AWARDS & INTERVIN BRONZE MEDAL WINNER!

"The second vintage from... Royal Road in the County's deep south captures the same lightness, nerve and impressive florality of the 2008, with more ripeness. There is something exciting going on here in the lifted violet, blackberry, vaguely herbal aromatics. It's very pretty...there is fine quality. Excellent length (Rating: 91 points)."
