A centuries old farm and orchard formerly producing milk, cheese
and apples now nurtures vineyards producing wine which is 100%
from estate grown grapes.
Located in a “sweet spot”, its vineyards are unique in soil,
underlying limestone, proximity to Lake Ontario, the influence of
wind, weather, and… light.
Respecting this distinctive land and its fruit, we are committed to
sustainability, minimal chemical inputs and maximum handwork to
allow natural expression and variation in the fruit, so that its wine
bespeaks of its place of origin.
Our 2008 Pinot Noir rests sleepily in oak barrels awaiting to reveal
itself.
